ARWYN WOLFSTONE

  •

Arwyn followed his brother Wedryn out of the womb after a year. Arwyn was born second and would remain second for the half of his childhood. His brother made an effort to take care of him, but no matter what Wedryn did Arwyn was always the inferior. From a young age, the boy struggled to find a purpose for his life, to discover a characteristic that set him apart from his brother. They were loved by their mother equally, but Arwyn could not possibly maintain the charisma and livelihood Wedryn possessed, and they would never take him seriously. Only in his dreams could he become the heroic hero whose charms his parents would adore, and the one his brother would respect. It was in sleep that he would discover that which he sought.

When Wedryn and Arwyn were conceived it was foretold that the second-born would be one of the pillars for the start of the five races. Arwyn’s mother, Alenna Wolfstone, nicknamed Mother of Strength carried the seed of a God within her, which was indeed Arwyn. At the age of 14 when the news about the South Sea Monsters reappearing, Arwyn was guided to his foretold destiny, where he can finally step away from the shadow of his brother. As the Son of a God, Arwyn possessed abilities mortals could never have, he had the ability to control the sea and at the age of 15 he defeated the Monsters that haunted the Seas of Inmortalis, ever since the days of the Immortals. Upon defeating the Monsters of the South Sea, Arwyn decided to seize the North, which was originally named Crescent Falls, to begin his bloodline. This is where he found the pack of Wolves who descended from the Crescent bloodline of Prince Nymeros, claiming that the North has always belonged to them.

However, Arwyn discovered that the Wolves could transform into human form. That’s when he met Lyria Storm, the current alpha female of her pack, who happened to have imprinted on Arwyn, thus leading to their marriage and his status as the alpha male. Lyria was a very beautiful woman. Her hair was a soft shade of mahogany brown; her body was slender while her bright blue eyes boast of innocence and purity. But, behind the sheer façade of her beauty, Lyria had quite the temperament, often she would lash out on her subordinates for not exceeding her expectations, even at Arwyn who had a higher status than her, but even so, Lyria was a good and strong mother to her children.

One winter's night, when the Red Moon was high up in the night sky, Arwyn had decided to fully commit himself as one of the Crescent Moon pack, becoming a pledged wolf whose fur was dark as coals, and eyes as green as the summer grass.

Arwyn and Lyria boasted the first children of the Wolves around the time Lanier Leonhart defeated the Rule of Titans. It was said that the Arwyn’s pack of Wolves would often hunt the Lions that dared to cross their Kingdom. However, on the dawn of summer, when the Lions brought the Dragons to the North, an innocent young Wolf died in the hands of the Mighty Lion. Erwyn Wolfstone, firstborn son of Arwyn and Lyria, their precious mud-haired boy, slain by the Mighty Lion for the greed of more land. This waged the 'War of the Pillar Fathers,’ where Arwyn marched his bannermen to the South in order to avenge his son. But, as Arwyn advanced, his most beloved Queen gave birth to their black-haired, blue-eyed daughter who Arwyn never had the chance to meet. In honour of her husband, Lyria named their daughter Athena who became the last ruling Sovereign of House Wolfstone before the Millennium Extinction.
