The lineage of House Dayne can be traced back to Lord Arthur Dayne, a higborn lord of the West. He is extremely loyal to House Ethoria and was known for his pale complexion and mismatched coloured eyes of: violet and blue. Lord Arthur Dayne served as Master of War for House Ethoria until the time of his death, but it is also rumoured that upon his service as Master of War, he was also servicing Erin Ethoria in bed secretly.
House Dayne were known to be great sword fighters and horse riders, they were born and created to fight in battle and win wars. It was also Lord Arthur Dayne who led the march of Ethorian soldiers and his men to fight in the War of the Pillar Fathers against Lanier Leonhart.
Lord Arthur Dayne was both fluent in Raemttesh and the Common Tongue, but could understand a little bit of Agrawyn. His rumoured affair with Queen Erin Ethoria was later proven when various of her bastard children turned out to inherit his violet eyes and pale complexion.
