LANIER LEONHART
Lanier Leonhart. What an elegant name to befall such contentious lips. Born in gold and fame, Lanier was renowned for his presumptuous attitude, but also his astonishing charms. With these sets of attributes, Lanier became famous for womanizing around the age of 11 where he became sexually active. At the age of 12, he fathered the first of his 135 bastards, Lucian Rivers, who he never acknowledged. This housed a terrible beast inside Lucian while growing up, as not even once did his father visited him. At the age of 13, Lanier was rumoured to have trained a wild beast that now hunts with him and called it 'Romulus' as Lanier found a new name for himself, which was the 'Mighty Lion'. Two years later, Lanier fathered more children, an amount even all his fingers combined cannot count.
However, Lanier acknowledged one of his bastards and her name was Lyka Kolt. Lyka was very much like her father, she was charming, pretentious, but full of life and she was a skilled fighter. Often Lanier would invite her to his House and train her better, in which people whispered that she was to be the heir of House Leonhart, for she was a daughter of a high-born lady. All of these did not go unnoticed though, while Lyka was acknowledged by his father, Lucian on the other hand, was still never seen beside his father. More often than not, Lanier could not even recognise Lucian as his own son, as he bore no similarities in looks with him. The boy boasted a charcoal hair colour with black heinous eyes, which enraged the boy that he had to look so much like his own mother.
However, when the reign of Titans began to affect his people, Lanier marched with his beast and wiped the existence of the Titans in the land of Inmortalis. But, not only did he kill the Titans, Lanier also stole the heart of Serafina Girelon, the most beautiful woman alive. Although marrying Serafina did not stop Lanier from producing bastards of his own. Right after their marriage and their wedding night, Lanier went to the North to bed one of the wolves he was so infatuated about. This resulted to his last known bastard, Lianne Lupin, which enraged the Alpha female of the pack, who happened to be Lyria Wolfstone at the time. She ended up taking the child in her care knowing that Lanier would only view it as another addition to his seeds. However, Lanier wasn't only there to bed the wolf he was seeing, but also to gather information towards Arywn Wolfstone and his land. "A lion shall have what he deserves," more often than not, it was the case for Lanier, as he always got what he deserved.
Befriending the Bloodfyre twins was probably the best of his tactics, though he was enchanted with Eira's beauty, no matter what he did he knew he was never going to put his seed within her. Not till Erys was alive at least. Perhaps if Lanier had his priorities in the correct order, then he would have realized being cruel and taking all of his frustrations out on making innocent souls roam the realm without his acknowledgment was a poor choice indeed. Serafina who still loved her husband, but refuse to bed with him after their last son died, had begun to slowly slip away from Lanier's grasp. To add to his vile acts, Lanier had slain Arwyn's only son and heir while the Bloodfyres watched as the young wolf gasps for the last breath of life. It was Lanier's first innocent kill. The child deserved better, he knew that and the Bloodfyres knew that. It was no surprise that Arwyn called upon his banners to fight Lanier and he knew that no amount of gold or his fame can get those banners to pull down. Even his wife Serafina of House Girelon had no power over her men who chose to side with the Wolf instead of the fair-haired Mighty Lion.
So he called upon the help of the Bloodfyre twins, but Eira refused as Erys had recently passed away. The strongest Royal ally of his was out his grasp and Lanier knew he and his bannermen along with his beast will need to fight the raging Wolves from the North, who brought the Snakes in their vengeance. Lanier died before the sun set from the South, but not without badly wounding Arwyn who soon followed him to the grave. But, with his last breath, Lanier thought of Serafina and their silver-haired children, how he wanted to apologize for his mistakes, in which he knew his words could never reach her anymore. So, he looked at the sky and told the Gods to take his life in exchange for letting his family live in peace.
